Noumeda Carbone

I'm a Paris born, Italian artist and award-winner freelance illustrator since 2001.
I work with ink, pigment liner, felt-tip pen and sometimes I mix hand drawing with digital instruments.
My illustrations are surreal, dreamlike, darkly and full of details.

My range of Clients include Leo Burnett, Pitti Immagine, Vogue | The trend blog, Breil, 1861 United, Andy Martin Associates: Architects and Designers, Saatchi & Saatchi Milano, London Liryc Opera, The Guardian, Sony/ATV , Alta Roma Ethical Fashion.

Client: Breil. È on air con 1861 United la nuova campagna stampa autunnale di BREIL TRIBE, sintesi dei valori che meglio rappresentano il brand più innovativo e al passo coi tempi del Gruppo Binda. Un marchio dalla forte personalità, che non a caso sceglie due testimonial giovanissimi ma già di grande successo: la super-sexi attrice californiana Jessica Alba, interprete del recentissimo “I fantastici 4 e Silver Surfer”, e l’attore/ballerino Massimiliano Varrese, vera rivelazione dell’anno grazie a ruoli da protagonista assoluto sia in teatro (suo il ruolo di Step nel musical 3 Metri Sopra il Cielo, sponsorizzato dal brand) che in tv. Nella nuova campagna entrambi i testimonial sono circondati da originalissime e inedite illustrazione in grado di esprimere lo spirito moderno, anticonformista ed estroso del brand; traendo ispirazione dall’arte moderna, e dalla street art in particolare, Breil Tribe cala i propri protagonisti in un’atmosfera metropolitana, trasgressiva e provocatoria nella versione maschile, più delicata e poetica in quella femminile. A firmare gli annunci il pay off “Ready to play”. Sotto la direzione creativa di Pino Rozzi e Roberto Battaglia, hanno lavorato alla campagna stampa Vincenzo Gasbarro e Christian Longhi, con le illustrazioni di Noumeda Carbone. Le fotografie sono di Mark Liddell per Jessica Alba e Giovanni Troilo per Massimiliano Varrese. Con questa campagna viene inoltre ufficializzato il cambiamento di logo del marchio, che da Tribe by Breil diventa oggi Breil Tribe. Il rinnovamento rappresenta la naturale evoluzione del marchio verso un target di riferimento piu’ ampio e trasversale; che, oltre a parlare ai piu’ giovani, si rivolge ad un pubblico più maturo e ricercato, dichiarando con forza crescente la propria appartenenza al mondo Breil Milano. "Wearable Pills" . Italian-based artist Noumeda Carbone is known typically for her award-winning illustrations. Her sculptures, however, are similarly colorful and meticulous. The Disease Sculptures and Wearable Pills series each include pieces painstakingly crafted from pill capsules. While her 3D work may exude a technicolor lightheartedness, the medium itself is disquieting. Particularly in the Wearable Pills series, the modern shift from pharmaceuticals as medical items to vanity products is especially striking.
